Our Family Blog: Grandma Lends A Hand
http://bigfatego.blogspot.com/2015/04/grandma-lends-hand.html
Sunday, April 19, 2015. Grandma Lends A Hand. Is over so today I could finally relax. Grandma came up from Columbus so Mary and I could be at the conference. As you can see the boys had a great time. Can you say hopscotch? It was a beautiful weekend. Nothing like sidewalk chalk to initiate the driveway's first spring. Two sets of eyes are better than one! How many numbers are in a hopscotch board? Jack can levitate, too! A perfectly executed hopscotch split. Go Luke, go! A little help from Grandma.

Friday, January 30, 2015. Snow Me A River. We don't have as much snow as our East Coast family and friends but its enough to play in, for school delays, and gives us an excuse to be extra cozy whenever possible. Below, the boys are ready to go down the mini-mountain in the back yard. Luke takes a plunge. And another. But Jack comes to the rescue. Sunday, January 25, 2015. We ate chocolate cake and had hot chocolate in the cafe. Wednesday, January 21, 2015. Waiting for the Bus. Sunday, January 18, 2015.
Our Family Blog: Happy 4th Birthday Luke!
http://bigfatego.blogspot.com/2015/05/happy-4th-birthday-luke.html
Monday, May 18, 2015. Happy 4th Birthday Luke! Last weekend was one long birthday celebration. Luke invited a few of his friends from preschool to the house to party. Not everyone could attend but given the amount of energy 4 year old children emit that was fine! Cake and Creepers, oh my! Luke opens his new creeper pal. It was a constant battle to keep him from absconding with Jack's creeper so we hope this is the solution. Play with a gift from Nanna and Grandpa. Thank you! Good food and and good times.

Friday, February 27, 2015. Speak to Me, DNA. Until now I have not known a single thing about my ethnicity. Ancestry.com helped me find out where my DNA has been. As you can see it spent most of its time in Great Britain. This explains my killer British accent Mary enjoys so much), Ireland. I've always liked green), and Scandinavia. Oh, I miss you, blond hair! Also interesting is that it’s so concentrated. Tuesday, February 24, 2015. Luke's 1st Dental Appointment. Sunday, February 22, 2015. Unfortunately,...

Sunday, November 30, 2014. After a big Thanksgiving weekend in Columbus (photos coming soon) the boys spent a day in cozy pajamas. The colored game pieces are actually Other Mother Fingers. Everything seems to end in a heap these days. Tuesday, November 25, 2014. K is for Kailani. Our friends Kathy and Saul came over for a visit recently. The boys had a great time with their daughter Kailani. Above. Saul was pretty fun, too! He's under there somewhere. Below. Play is hard, Luke, but you'll be fine. It's ...

Thursday, April 30, 2015. Jack at a recent swim lesson. The racoon eyes were the result of his swim goggles. The thing about swimming is it takes hours to get ready and days to get back into your street clothes. For seven year old children you have to double that time. Then they always want donuts. Friday, October 31, 2014. Luke woke from his nap to find a plate full of Halloween critters to munch on. Below. Jack shows off the first of many creepy spiders. The cat was made by Jack in school today. Now I have to get upstairs. I don't want to miss the 27th showing of Caroline. The recent movie the boys can't get enough of. Trick or Treating photos coming later. Thursday, October 30, 2014. The pumpkin on the left is Jack's design. The one on the right is a Minecraft Creeper. Serious effort, Luke!

Our Family Blog: December 2014
http://bigfatego.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 31, 2014. New Year's Eve Visit. We just got back from a nice lunch with the Grandparents. They stopped by to say hello and spend the last day of the year with the boys. We ate ourselves silly! I've had some problems with my rotten computer so as I get it fixed I will catch up on posts. Friday, December 26, 2014. We ate like royalty all day and night. That's not hyperbole; nonstop feasting resulted in constant bloated bellies. Mother Mary strikes a home run again! Nope, not up there!

Running into the missing piece
Running into the missing piece. Tuesday, October 14, 2014. It’s fall, only a few aspen are clinging to their golden leaves. The farmers market is finished, and frosts and snows have ended the growing season. Summer was a flurry; a near miss wildfire, gardening, end of life issues and healing. Through it all both Gary and I kept remembering the Ultra Caballo; people, food, the river. People came to market to congratulate Gary, and then strangers started bringing me baby blankets for the Raramuri children.
