Urban runnerslifestyle BERLIN / Sportmedizin. Dienstag, 4. August 2015. Da die Schwimmsaison in vollem Gange ist, schreibe ich ein paar Sätze zu Muskelkrämpfen. Die genaue Ursache von Muskelkrämpfen ist nicht genau geklärt. Scheinbar ist es eine Kombination aus Problemen in der Nervenverschaltung, zentraler Ermüdung sowie Verschiebung des Salz-und Wasserhaushaltes, was die erstgenannten Ursachen über die kritische Schwelle für einen Krampf. Die Freude am Schwimmen sollte trotz Krämpfen nicht vergehen.
