Southern Soul Barbecue  |

May 23, 2015. On May 23, 2015. One of today’s specials was a house made bologna sandwich. According to the Honey Badger, it was delicious although he would have left off the mustard, just a personal preference. Otherwise, he felt the sandwich taste and construction were excellent. Even with the mustard, there wasn’t a crumb left when he was done. I ordered the brisket sandwich with the optional cole slaw topping. I thought it was tasty, but I wanted (needed? Five stars. May 11, 2015. I ate an eyeball. On May 11, 2015. A couple of weeks ago, I was in Austin, Texas for a combination of family events and business. Now, Austin is a great city for food – especially meaty foods like BBQ and Tex-Mex so this trip was always going appeal to the foodie in me. On the business side of the trip, my team was facilitating a workshop that ran from noon on Monday – noon on Wednesday for one of our clients. As part of the event, we planned a nice dinner at Odd Duck. I studiously avoided ...

Leave the gun, take the cannoli. — The Godfather. Luckily, traveling and eating go hand in hand. Like cupcakes and frosting. I try to find out what the local cuisines are and partake if I can. My palate is still growing and changing for the better. I try to approach food with an open mind. You never know what you will like, but sometimes it is challenging. And now, the really important stuff:. Road, Trails, Track or Treadmill: Road. Longest Distance: 15 miles, at Red Rock Canyon, just outside Las Vegas.

Running Towards God | Musings of a Catholic chick who's running to win the imperishable crown.

Musings of a Catholic chick who's running to win the imperishable crown. March 25, 2016. The Cross: An Epic Failure. By all worldly standards, Jesus was a failure. Because, by all worldly standards, to fail is to suffer. To fail is to be powerless. To fail is to be weak. To fail is to be victimized, misunderstood, persecuted– to be deprived of pleasure, glory, advantage, status. I would submit that the Passion and Death of Jesus Christ, true God and true man, is the most scandalous event in human history.

Running towards the answers. Tuesday, June 18, 2013. Last year, I was all excited to sign up for the RocknStroll 5k. Admission to Riverfest, a race, a Travelers game? I talked Katie into it and we signed up ourselves and the boys. Fast forward to race morning. We go and pick up our stuff and then my unenthusiastic sister suggests that we ditch the race for IHOP. 달쪽으로 달려가

Didnt really do anything today.  Like I mentioned in my last post, I got home about 7am.  Only got about an hour of sleep cuz my heater hadnt kicked on yet. All Night in HongDae. OK, so Korean beds are like sleeping on a somewhat more comfy box-spring.  . I like firm beds, I mean my futon back home is super firm, but these are a little too much.  . I can sleep on them pretty fine.  . But I wake up with really sore shoulders and arms.  . I need to get my extra cushioning for it sent. 여기: Seoul, South Korea.
