Running with my Baby

Running with my Baby. Tuesday, 9 June 2015. Pregnancy, running, the truth and all. Are you still running? Has been the question most people have asked me throughout this pregnancy. I have felt the pressure to keep fit and to stay in shape, mainly because I want to get back racing as soon as possible, but after pushing myself to run for 36 weeks I am looking back now wondering if it was my most sensible decision. We will see! Black is very forgiving. Who told me she ran to 36 weeks and she is my idol.

Running with my Baby. Monday, 7 April 2014. 10 Things I Learnt by Running 50 miles (or my SDW 50 mile race report). 1 Tapers can mean no running and that is OK. I didn't run for 2 weeks before the race. I was injured and sad, I was freaking out inside my head. But I tried to trust my training. I sent panic messages to my Centurion buddies. I cant walk let alone run! I visited the wonderful Simon Lamb ( www.sixsecondshigh.com. Centurions biggest fan (after Rich). Very fast boys and me.

Running with my Baby: June 2014

http://runningwithmybaby.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html

Running with my Baby. Wednesday, 25 June 2014. Hello my name is Eddie, I'm a runner and I'm injured. I have finally faced the fact that finishing everyday hobbling, running in constant pain and eating painkillers in order to run is not healthy and not sustainable in the long run. Wonderful service at Profeet,. Showing me how to tape my foot. And checking my trainers and gait. The pain face, Nice. Why didn't I do more rehab work? Why this and why that? Charlotte's Web Log: Park Run

http://charlotteeaston.blogspot.com/2014/02/park-run.html

Saturday, February 1, 2014. This morning, I participated in the Park Run for the first time. As you can see, it was a beautiful morning but Brockwell was rather flooded. Where you see puddle, there should be tarmac. A little over two years ago I did my one and only run with Dulwich Runners. The next day I was diagnosed with aggressive, stage 4 breast cancer. My first words to the doctor were "But I ran 11km yesterday! But that doesn't matter". February 1, 2014 at 12:14 PM. Travels of a Tandem.

Charlotte's Web Log: In the Pink

http://charlotteeaston.blogspot.com/2014/02/in-pink.html

Monday, February 17, 2014. Lovely Laura Fitzgibbon, a colleague from Emanuel has been kicking my butt the last couple of weeks. Thanks to her encouragement, I finished my third Park Run and managed a new personal best. Running has helped me stay sane in the last few weeks and I think I'm finding my mojo again. I owe Laura a bun. Towards the end of the race I spied a photographer and managed to catch him after I'd scanned in. He very kindly emailed me these pictures. His site is here. Travels of a Tandem.

Saturday, December 13, 2014. The bitch is back. Metastatic cells have been found floating in my lungs. I don't understand; the picture was so rosy only a matter of weeks ago. I've had time to adjust my thinking. I am proud that I've done my best to keep myself fit and healthy. I am going to need all the physical strength I have. One in the eye of the alien. Charlotte's Web Log: Dylan Thomas

http://charlotteeaston.blogspot.com/2014/02/dylan-thomas.html

Saturday, February 1, 2014. The Prayer of Eli Jenkins from "Under Milk Wood" - Dylan Thomas. Over the years I have learnt a great deal from my students. This week, a very special member of my adorable sixth form Latin class introduced me to this prayer-poem. Not only has he lent me his copy of collected Dylan Thomas poems, but also insisted on reading it to me, complete with Welsh accent. The pictures are from Seaham in the summer. Every morning when I wake,. Dear Lord, a little prayer I make,.

These days I call myself a runner...: South Downs Way 50

These days I call myself a runner. Wednesday, 8 April 2015. South Downs Way 50. With things having gone so poorly in the last few months, and with so little preparation in the week leading up to the race, it was with some trepidation that I arrived in Worthing on Saturday morning, looking for the start of Centurion’s South Downs Way 50 miler. That soon gave way to mild panic when I realised I’d arrived at the wrong place. Good to get all the mistakes and problems out of the way in the first hour of arriv...

These days I call myself a runner. Tuesday, 30 June 2015. The Great Barrow Challenge - 4in4. This weekend, I took part in the Great Barrow Challenge in Suffolk. It's a running festival, with people taking on half marathons, marathons, ultras, and combinations of the three, over a 10 day period. The most extreme option is running 10 x 50km ultras in 10 days! 65279;However, it turns out, running marathons is actually pretty tough. I think with all the ultras, I'd forgotten. Us at ZZ Top. These days I call myself a runner. Monday, 8 June 2015. Too much too soon. Yesterday I ran the Stour Valley Marathon, a race that I have been looking forward to all year since defering my 2014 entry. It rounded off a 46 mile week, my first of the Juneathon challenge. 8 June 2015 at 19:14. Lovely to see you but you were definitely brave running a marathon 2 weeks after GUCR! Hope you recover well and see you at another run soon! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Results I'm most pleased with. There are ...

RWM | Running With Mullets

September 17, 2013. So at first I was all up in the gym for major, face melting cardio only. Then I started reading lots of different things on the internet that basically alluded to the fact that weight training would also make you look awesome. That’s a broad and very unscientific statement, but think about it this way:. Muscle burns fat. One pound of muscle can burn 7-10 calories a day (that’s pretty awesome, no? One pound of fat will only burn 2-3 calories a day (that’s lame! I’m a Jerk. I just sent ...

Running With My Eyes Shut. Monday, September 7, 2009. We held the hubby Dan and sister Katie's birthday party last Friday. I made a delicious Devils Food cake with a rich Dark Chocolate Ganache for Dan and a Triple Berry pie for Katie. We then drove the 30 minutes back to the house in time to cool off. It was so hot and dusty at the range, I can't wait to someday join a club so we can go to an inside range. I did surprise Dad by informing him I joined the NRA! Tuesday, September 1, 2009. Running with my Thesis | A grad student and her dog

Running with my Thesis. A grad student and her dog. Back in the saddle I guess. By Anna (Running with my Thesis). I’ve moved on to Week 4 Day 1 of Zombies, Run! And while I am by no means doing as well as I was a few weeks ago, I’m at least getting back out there and not giving up. But yeah, I’ve tracked my eating now for the past three days and it is totally that I am not eating enough. Also, I need to get new shoes, because these ones are a) full of holes and b) hurting my feet. So, about running.
