hunched and loaded: October 2010
http://hunchedandloaded.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
From an Austin bike commuter.and runner. Wednesday, October 13, 2010. Common courtesy goes a long way. I felt pretty damn good about myself and then promptly told myself to not get a big head for such an obvious and easy gesture. Obligate Seinfeld reference (episode #307): ".I am a kind man. Who else would do something like this? Nobody. Nobody thinks about people like I do. All right, snap out of it you stupid jerk. You're eating a turkey sandwich. What do you want, a nobel prize? 3) and probably the mo...

hunched and loaded: May 2015
http://hunchedandloaded.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
From an Austin bike commuter.and runner. Thursday, May 7, 2015. First 10k completed and running dogs. It was actually April 12th but I haven't gotten around to writing about it. I ran it with some friends who are all way better and faster runners than me but I'm proud to have finished running it anyway. I walked up hills but ran the rest. Next up: half marathon! I know what people think. "Why not just get a big dog? Anyhow, here's hoping Estelle gets past 12 lb. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

From an Austin bike commuter.and runner. Wednesday, April 1, 2015. Lululemon: Now with more wasp! Back with more griping about the top clothing choice for bored, rich, waspsy women who really want a good looking behind in yoga pants. Again, disclaimer: I am not a student or scholar of Buddhism or Hinduism by any means but I know bullshit co-optation when I see it. Today it is about Dhyana. According to abuddhistlibrary.com. In conclusion, Lululemon, suck it. Group runs, the shudders and hot sprinters.

kansai kudasai: September 2014
http://kansaikudasai.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 29, 2014. I totally missed any type of recognition on the actual date I first posted, however, I did want to take a moment to point out that I've been writing Kansai Kudasai for an entire year! If you are a newer reader, you should check out my first post, What's in a Name. Where I talk about the impetus for the blog and more! Speaking of blog names, I'm going to plug my friend Eric's blog, Baum Temple of Speed. Which has a name origin story. One week to go! The marathon is a cruel and ...

kansai kudasai: January 2015

Sunday, January 25, 2015. A Runners Guide to Memphis, TN. I was recently in Memphis, TN for five days for my sister, Rachel's wedding (Rachel hates it when I refer to her exclusively as "my sister"). If you find yourself in Memphis, TN, here are my recommendations for where to run (important), where not to run (even more important), where to eat (most important), and more. You're gonna need to run eating like this in Memphis! In my limited experience, Shelby Farms Park. Tour de Wolf (Shelby Farms Park).

hunched and loaded: Bicycle stagecoaches
http://hunchedandloaded.blogspot.com/2015/03/bicycle-stagecoaches.html
From an Austin bike commuter.and runner. Tuesday, March 24, 2015. Needs to happen. Pedicabs are cool for event centered/drunkard transportation but let's face it, they're too slow to provide a real alternative to cabs. Bike pulled stagecoaches however would totally be able to replace other forms of public transportation. For them to make sense though, I think they'd have to be partly subsidized by a city government or even user memberships. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.
