Third week in the chelsea. A laid back look into the world of mecha, anime, games and other interesting stuff. Wednesday, 10 June 2009. Full Metal Alchemist S1 review. Full Metal Alchemist is one of those anime's. That came out ages ago and for whatever reason I put off watching. I'd always heard good things about it but had never really been interested, probably because at the time, I thought it was one of these new wave 'teen animes. Comic and Graphic Novels. Bad Romance : 50 Ways To Terrify Your Valentine. Guardian columnist Bidisha made a post yesterday. About the downside of romanticism. She didn’t quite get her point across after the rant went off course and started talking about the injustice of having a cleaner and not reading Germaine Greer (this is often a problem for her) but I read Guardian articles for the comments, and one of them pointed me towards this gem. 3 : Give her a facial massage. Let’s look at the semiotic...

Today I did Chinese practice with Rinny for 5 hours, working on reading content from a contract dispute. I am now 80x better at reading contracts in Chinese. https://todayididthisforme.wordpress.com/2015/02/14/never-on-sunday
Today I did this for me. February 14, 2015. Comments 6 Comments on never on sunday. I woke up early today and lay in bed enjoying not having to get up, not having to work, and listening to the rain outside. Through various meandering trains of thought, I started thinking about non-latin alphabets, and remembered a weekend spent deciphering the Greek lyrics to. Faut qu’ils s’activent. By The Cardigans, and Louise Attaque. One of those albums was. Je ne veux pas travailler. Ta Paidiá tou Peiraiá. For the r...
