Many miles before I sleep. A running log plus blog. Monday, February 22, 2010. Bare legs for All! B/C I was feeling goofy. Despite never liking shoes when I was younger (I lived in warmer climates with a grassy yard), I am not qualified to weigh in on the barefoot running debate. I am a communications major with limited knowledge about biology. This debate has made me pause and think about the essentials of running. Lets get rid of shorts too! Just a few of the styles ranging in length). They are aerodyn...

Many miles before I sleep: USA TF TV coverage thoughts
http://carabyrd.blogspot.com/2010/06/usa-tf-tv-coverage-thoughts.html
Many miles before I sleep. A running log plus blog. Sunday, June 27, 2010. USA TF TV coverage thoughts. I was upset but I do realize that to ESPN a no hitter is going to bring in more of an audience then track and field. Of course, if most track and field fans are like me, we have little to no interest in a no hitter. They also indentified Alan Webb’s record as being set in 1987-he would have been 5 at the time and again this was a graphic. It was comedy of tragedies. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Many miles before I sleep: Brevard

Many miles before I sleep. A running log plus blog. Friday, August 6, 2010. I'm not going to bore you with 4 week worth of log. I'll just say that I had 3 really strong 50 mile weeks and then I took a week off. I know you are thinking, why a week off? Death in the family? Getting locked in the cellar with no way of escape? Pointing in costume on the graduation run (notice my knees-roots are hard to see at 5:45). Dancing at the top of the run. Group of Junior Staff on the top of John's Rock.

Many miles before I sleep. A running log plus blog. Monday, July 5, 2010. Chicago training week 3-Mud! This week was what summer is meant to be; beautiful weather, grilling out and seeing old friends. Needless to say, I was a bit embarrassed running down the side of the road covered in mud. This next week will hopefully be a 53 mile week. I am traveling to Brevard to work a running camp and the mileage I rack up there is whatever they want to give me. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). We finally found C.S. Hawkins park and in a small pavilion there was a table and a man. We just assumed this is where we would sign-up. Nicky asked the man very politely if this was the place for the 5k. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A social media addict with a love for Track and Field. . View my complete profile.
