Today would be a long day: A visit to the White house and WWII, Lincoln, Vietnam and Washington monuments at night. We went to the White house and take pictures – and walked back to the Washington monument, had something to eat and waited for about 30 minutes until dark. Monday, July 6, 2009. The Air and Space Museum at Udvar-Hazy. We took off early to see this museum, it has a SR-71 blackbird, the Enterprise space shuttle and tons of other aircraft. The last tour was at 1:00 pm and we wanted to see the IMAX move "The Blue Planet" at the same time. We got there around 10am and had breakfast in the café and soon after saw a short introductory film in one of the theaters about Washington hosted by Pat Sajak! To end our visit we went to the visitor center to look through the museum.
