It is located about 3 miles south of us in a neighborhood similar to where we live now. The house is also very close to what we have just with a little bit more square footage, a barn and acreage. It is located on a cul-de-sac on a quiet dirt road. For a foreclosure, the house is in good shape. It's not trashed, just very outdated. The bathrooms still have the gold toilets from the 70's.

Friday, July 11, 2014. In route I blew a tire on the trailer. It held me up for several hours in Dodge City. I got to try out our insurance's Road Side Assistance. It worked well, but the phone call took longer than it did to change the tire. Once on the road again and driving over the mountains a mountain lion bounded across the road in front of me. Monday, December 29, 2014. For Christmas this year we decided to try the cabin out. We certainly had some concerns about winter in the mountains and traveling. We kept an eye on the weather and installed a winch on the front of Chad's 4-Runner. The Bainums met us there and got the place warmed up before we arrived. Alan followed us from Kansas making a nice party for the Holiday. The kids watching a small heard of deer. I love the snow on their backs, they look so fat and cozy. The scenery was beautiful!
