Warden outside the Old Town Jail. Stirling is also home to 'Stirling Castle'. The castle was occupied by royalty such as Mary Queen of Scots and King James VI of Scotland. In part of the castle you can sit on a throne and pretend you are King (or Queen). Who could resist such an indulgence? Kyle and Me as royalty.

Monday, November 29, 2010. If you're like me, the whole Christmas card thing is kind of an ordeal. I always procrastinate on taking our family picture, then take forever looking for the cutest card with the best price and before I know it, it's January and no one has heard from us yet! But not this year. This year I took that bull by the horns and my cards are DONE! Ok, not in the mail or anything but printed at least. And the best part? I spent a whopping $28 for 200 photo cards! Ya, turkeys right?

Friday, May 9, 2014. Strawberries and a zipline. This is kind of a random post but it's what we've been up to in the last week that is noteworthy! Now on to the zip line. Last Saturday we went over a friends house for a BBQ. They live way out in Dripping Springs on a few acres and have chickens, a miniature horse, goats, trampoline, fire pit, etc, etc. It's basically a kids dream yard. Knox has been there once before and was HYPED to go back! Now every day he tells me how brave he is, it's adorable.

Mostly because we now have two children, but also because I have early on-set of technology inability and haven't been able to get any pictures uploaded on the blog- and who wants to read a blog post with no pictures? Poor Knox is really going to have his work cut out for him in 20 years with his dear old mom. Only 31 and I can't operate a computer- imagine how bad it will get. Monday, February 10, 2014. Knox and Evan had their first "sleepover" together which went incredibly bad- ha! But I guess that was to be expected, I figured it was worth a shot. They ended up finally going to bed around 10:00 pm (after we separated them) and then were both hugely cranky and whiney on Saturday. Oh well, you live and learn. Here are some pics from when it finally stopped being freezing and we could get outside on Saturday! Isla loves playing in the sand. Isla and Evan playing "together".

Saturday, July 26, 2014. Isla has her first friend. Her name is Molly and she is a doll. She's sweet and beautiful and in true little girl fashion loves to play in the mud and get dirty. She and Isla squeal with delight when they see each other and then they scream and cry and steal each other's baby dolls. Isn't that what little girl friendship is? I think so and I am so sad for Isla and Molly to be parting ways this week. I got to do a little photoshoot with Molly a few weeks ago. She is a runner!
