Wednesday, March 18, 2009. I had the best birthday! Unlike many people, my birthday is my favorite day of the year and I just love it! On Saturday my mom came down and she, David, and I all ran in the St. Patrick's Day 5K run here in town. It was so much fun! It was amazing- -I was so impressed with how well she did! Sunday, September 10, 2006. After that, however, we went on to the biking and did pretty well. The problem was that by that time we were so far behind everybody else that we could not catch up with anyone to pass them. However, during the running portion, we did catch and pass two men, ages 70 , who were walking the course. Our friends came and cheered us on at the finish line, which was very fun. After the race we got massages, free chicken, and medals! Do you think it was the swimming suits?

That night I went to bed early because on Halloween morning I ran a 10k with Julie, the girl who ran that half marathon with me! Saturday, June 10, 2006. I ran my first mile in 9:30, which is okay. After that I decided to pick up the pace, so I ran my other miles in about 9 minutes. My last few miles were better than my first three, and I got excited because after I turned around on the course I saw all the people who were still behind me. I was like, "wow, these people are even walking! Then I even saw a guy juggling and another guy jumping rope and did not feel as cool.those guys juggled and jumped for six miles! You can do it!

Wednesday, May 02, 2012. Arwen loves playing with kitty toys and I love indulging her, which is why you can find approximately nine toys in your line of sight at any given place in our house. Her favorite one, though, is this little gem:. It used to be covered in tinsel but as a result of all of the loving and playing its fur has disappeared onto our floor.
