Friday, March 12, 2010. This is my horse, Moku. Happened upon some cows hanging out in the trees while on our horses. Our guide specifically asked us to give the "hang loose" sign. Tuesday, May 26, 2009. Here are some pictures from our recent trip to Boulder, Colorado. Some of our friends and family have asked, "Why are you moving to Boulder? So I tried to capture some of the charm and beauty that we find so appealing. There's a lot more to see, but here's a start. In a personal sense and an ecological one. Friday, February 27, 2009. Sabina Manipulates the Rise and Fall of Empires through her Global Control Center. Sabina saw the sea lions in Astoria, where they have literally taken over the docks. There is almost no room for people or boats and they can be somewhat hostile. They will bark at you and start waddling toward you if you get too close. Sunday, September 20, 2009. For his part, Isaac tolerates Emma frequently invading his personal bubble without complaint. I'm not sure why she feels the need to do so, but she often will get literally as close as she can to him. He also seems to enjoy her voice as he will normally listen contentedly to her lengthy imaginative ramblings when she "reads" him stories. Emma playing Isaac a song on her piano. Wednesday, December 17, 2008. Well, quite a lot has happened since our last post! Emma started daycare, Nate changed jobs, Thanksgiving, a getaway weekend for Nate and I, a visit from Nana LaVonne, and my brother Ben moved in with us for awhile. Wow! After dinner we all sat in the living room and were entertained by Emma. It always amazes me that one child can enthrall so many adults! Emma and grandpa sharing pie that became communal pie. Sunday, May 10, 2009. I am truly exhausted tonight. Probably a combination of my incredibly busy work schedule and the busy weekend we had. Oh yeah, and I'm pregnant! Thursday, November 12, 2009. Unfortunately, this fall has not been very colorful, so we've had to create our own brilliance. We got an early snowstorm at the beginning of October and the temperatures stayed under 30 for about a week. Although the trees here are pretty hardy (no pansy palm trees thank you very much), the cold temperatures proved too much to handle and the leaves just fell off the trees before changing colors. Wednesday, January 7, 2009. So for those of you who haven't heard the news, Emma is going to be a big sister! Now on to Christmas! The first Christmas was official Christmas which was spent in San Fransisco with Nate's Dad and brother. It was a great time and the weather was perfect! För 3 månader sen gifte jag mig :D. Det var egentligen tänkt att jag skulle göra tårtan, men ju närmre bröllopsdatumet det blev, desto mer stressad blev jag såg till slut bestämde jag mig för att damerna på min gamla praktikplats skulle göra den.
