Sunday, September 29, 2013. Preparations prior to departure. The "gyne" girls went all out with their own delicious potluck , tender card and desserts that lasted the week. I am really blessed with patients who spoke of their appreciation, but I wonder if they worry I might not return! Thursday, April 24, 2014. Eleuthera and the Abacos. Just relaxing in the hammock. On a more fortunate note, once back at the town dock where the dinghy was tied up, several local fishermen had arrived with their daily catch. They certainly seem to know where to search for lobsters and snapper. We bought some of all of the above along with the friendly locals and were delighted to score such fresh fish, yum. Got up a bit early to go for a walk through historic Portsmouth and have a breakfast burrito at the local coffee shop before departing on our next leg with our friends Janaki and Graham.
