Irene and Gary afloat. August 11, 2015. Norman’s Cay, Bahamas. Without question, it is absolutely gorgeous here. We have anchored in white sand about ten feet deep. Even in faint moonlight we can see the sea bottom and it’s littered with starfish and sand dollars. Our closest neighbor is a sailboat anchored far enough away that we need binoculars to see if there’s anyone on board. I guess we’ve left the mega yachts behind.
