Kitchen of The Left-Handed Spoon: St. Patty's Day Cake
http://thelefthandedspoon.blogspot.com/2010/05/st-pattys-day-cake.html
Thursday, May 13, 2010. St Patty's Day Cake. Here's a simple yet "festive" St. Patty's Day dessert, and the best part . . . it's semi-homemade! Take a box of yellow cake mix; follow all the directions on the box, just add some green food coloring. Make some buttercream frosting and divide into three equal parts, color one part green, and one part orange. Leave the 3rd part white. Do you have your buttercream frosting recipe on here? How can i make this cake if i dont know how to make the frosting?

Kitchen of The Left-Handed Spoon: Protein Packed Cookies
http://thelefthandedspoon.blogspot.com/2010/11/super-delish-protein-packed-cookies.html
Wednesday, November 17, 2010. I've gotten a large number of requests for this recipe, and while I can't claim it as my own, I'm more than happy to share it because it rocks my socks! 1 1/2 cup natural peanut butter ( I use smooth and lightly salted). 1 1/2 scoop whey protein powder (vanilla, chocolate or unflavored - I use chocolate). 1/2 cup Sucanat (if you are using sweetened protein powder cut sucanat back to 1/3rd cup)(took me a while to find this, but you can get it at Whole Foods). 1 tsp baking soda.

Kitchen of The Left-Handed Spoon: May 2010
http://thelefthandedspoon.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 15, 2010. Now for a little more brownie inspiration. Don't have time to go all out making a fancy dessert? Simply mix together (as per box instructions) a box of brownie mix, but instead of the regular 8x8 pan, spoon into a mini-cupcake pan and bake for about 10 minutes. While the brownie bites are baking, mix up some of this. Cream cheese frosting, and top each brownie with a nice swirl . . . Now you've got a fancy dessert with only half the hassle. Fail Proof Cream Cheese Frosting. Take a...

Cobblers, crisps, & crumbles. Pies & tarts. February 18, 2009. Pecan and Salted Caramel Cheesecake. Recently, I read somewhere that 2008 was a big year for salted caramel. I don’t think I’m in any position to agree or disagree with that, but I will say that I had a little love affair with it myself. (Hello, salted caramel hot chocolate! On its own, there is nothing exceptional about the cheesecake. The difference is the caramel. The salt portion is sprinkled on top, so you can use as little or as...To ma...

Raposas Kitchen: April 2012
http://raposaskitchen.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Recipes, Crafts and Stories. Monday, April 9, 2012. Starting with the pantry. So I was making peanut butter cups and realized I was out of peanut butter. After I had already made two batches of chocolate shells. I was fairly certain that I had a full unopened jar in The Pantry of Doom. Somewhere. As I was digging around for it, my hand landed on something thick and sticky. This is never a good thing. This isn't exactly a before picture, it's more of a In-The-Middle-Of picture. Raposas Kitchen: July 2011
http://raposaskitchen.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Recipes, Crafts and Stories. Sunday, July 10, 2011. Non-Dairy Banana "Ice Cream". My goodness it's been a while since I've posted. But it's because I've been very busy and working on losing weight. Making a cooking blog and losing weight tend to cancel each other out. But now that I've lost just about 20 lbs I can kind of start eating normal food again. As long as it's low cal, anyway. So here is my newest creation I found at Freestyle Farm. And I'm in love! And thankfully so is my family. Yep, that's it.

http://charlottejulie.blogspot.com/2010/05/too-scary.html
4 Foot 2 Inches of Sarcasm. Friday, May 21, 2010. Was there something you were afraid of as a child that just seems silly to you now? No, clowns are still crazy ass scary. And open-backed stairs still scare the crap out of me. Oh, the parking garages have become even more scary with age! May 21, 2010 at 3:52 PM. I still fear being disliked. Oh.and wet paper. I cant think of anything that I was afraid of as a kid that I dont have an aversion to now. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). How Sweet It Is.
