Wednesday, May 7, 2008. Well, summer is in and since we are not getting very good mangoes in market this season, there is another fruit that really makes a great drink this season! Pomegranate - 1 big one(keep only the seeds). Sugar - 6 tsps. Milk - 2 glasses. Water - 1.5 glass. Vanilla ice cream - 500 ml. 1)In a juicer, juice pomegranate, sugar, milk and water. 2)Filter the juice and put it in a glass. 3)Add a scope of vanilla ice cream and on that sprinkle few pomegranate seeds. Serve chill.

Saturday, February 14, 2009. Palak Leaves - 1 bunch. Onions - 2 large (Finely chopped). Paneer- 10 cubes (soak in curds for 15 minutes). Red chilli powder - 1-2 tsp. Oil - 2 tbsp. Turmeric powder - 1 pinch. Ginger Garlic paste - 2 tsp. Coriander Powder - 1/2 tsp. Jeera Powder - 1/2 tsp. Garam Masala Powder - 1 tsp. 1) Boil Palak saperately and grind it to fine paste. 2) Heat a kadai and arrange for a seasoning with 2 tbsp of oil. When the seasoning crackles, add paneer and fry well in medium flame.

Saturday, February 23, 2008. Cauliflower - 1 large (cut into medium sized flowers). Onions - 2 medium sized (Chop into small pieces. Ginger paste - 1 tsp. Garlic - 10 flakes (chop into small and fine pieces. Plain flour) - 1 tbsp. Corn flour - 1 tbsp. Powder - 1 tsp. Green Chillies - 3 to 4(chop into fine pieces. Tomato Ketchup - 1 tbsp. 1) Heat Oil in a Kadai. Corn flour, salt and chilli. Powder in a vessel. Add little water, aesofitida. And 1 tsp of oil and make it to a fine paste. Rice Starch - 4 cups.

Monday, April 7, 2008. This receipe is dedicated to my dear friend Sneha and her husband Pawan. This is for their first Ugadi celebrations after their wedding. Modala hosa varsha for them in Indian terms. Gram floor(Besan) - 1 cup. Sugar - 2 cups. Ghee - 2 cups. Water - 3/4 th cup. Friday, March 28, 2008. Sweet Potato(Gennasu) - 1 Large sized. Green Chillies - 5 to 6. Corriander leaves - 1 cup finely chopped. Curds - 1/2 litre. Boil the sweet potato properly. Smash them with green chillies. Add curds and salt and mix well. Season it with ghee and garnish with corriander leaves. Serve with hot rice. :) Simple and yum.
