Sure I'm fat, tired, uncomfortable, and life is scary and changing fast, but it also feels like anticipating Christmas morning. Why didn't anyone tell me that part about pregnancy? You get to meet your baby? Seriously, no one talks about it. Everyone focuses on how horrible the end of pregnancy is, but it does. Samuel and heather shannon.

What with 2 jobs between us, switching time with Alexis during the day, her not sleeping at night (another vent for another day), still unpacking slowly, etc., blogging has been kind of on the back burner. And anyway, I just summarized what any posts between then and now would have been anyhow. So, Valentine's Day! Such a bright spot in the middle of the bleak winter. Cupid was good to us this year. This has not been easy and because of faith from our leaders and the members we were able to get the help that we needed to get the permits.
