Saturday, October 02, 2010. On Sept 12, 2010 I ran another 10k. It was the Santa Monica Lexus 5000. After the race we walked around the pier for a bit but unfortunately it was too early to enjoy all it has to offer (it opened a few hours later). We decided we'd hit the beach instead. We played in the sand and the ocean and had a great time! Pix are a little scarce as I didn't wanna risk getting sand in my brand new camera! And Chieko takes the wheel! Still in my race gear! Jason made Emi into a mermaid!

It isn't difficult to raise money when you are promoting a good organization and putting your feet where your mouth is. I had fun that first race, and it eventually led to many more 5Ks, 10Ks, a couple of half-marathons, and three marathons. Would you like to set a goal to complete your first 5K?
