Thursday, October 29, 2009. Me with a super cute baby. This is on one of my walks around at the church plant in the province. These moms are happy to hand over their babies so I can oogle over them. I have a real soft spot for this girl, her face is so pudgy and she drools constantly. Her mom is regularly attending the church meetings. A few typical houses for the province, if you have a little money you can have wooden houses like this, the super poor have thatched houses. View my complete profile.

Thursday, October 29, 2009. This girl is about 20 with a brand new baby and the husband or boyfriend has left, and she's got not even a morsel to eat. This woman has a serious heart condition and needs unafforadable surgery to correct it. She is believing the Lord for complete healing. She is a believer through Soh Peeuh (above). Thursday, October 29, 2009. Pauline (my OM teammate, housemate and friend) with an old woman we have befriended in the village. She is so sweet and quite hard of hearing. Has very few teeth so it's hard to understand her Khmer. She likes to squeeze our arms and legs in complete fascination for how huge we are. She is as skinny as a rail. Thursday, October 29, 2009. Some random pics from around Phnom Penh. We were out for a walk around our new office area and saw these men struggling to get this moto and cart upright with an unbelievable load. They did succeed, but it wasn't easy. Me not looking terribly pleased as I realize the noodles that i ordered had intestines, liver and other various animal parts I'm not thrilled to eat. Life with the ladies. Wednesday, May 18, 2011. Uncle died last week. We got the job of trying to locate his first family (two daughters and an ex-wife) that he hasn't spoken to in more than 20 years and notify them of his death. We have almost no information to work with. The funeral is Friday and we have sent a few emails but none of them have been returned. No idea if we're barking up the wrong tree or not. Ava has an appointment with a surgeon June 9 th. Lily had an appointment today with an ENT.
