Life with the ladies. Wednesday, May 18, 2011. Uncle died last week. We got the job of trying to locate his first family (two daughters and an ex-wife) that he hasn't spoken to in more than 20 years and notify them of his death. We have almost no information to work with. The funeral is Friday and we have sent a few emails but none of them have been returned. No idea if we're barking up the wrong tree or not. Ava has an appointment with a surgeon June 9 th. Lily had an appointment today with an ENT.

Life with the ladies. Wednesday, April 27, 2011. A new favorite sandwich. My husband told me to put this sandwich on my blog so I figured what the heck. I have no pictures, we always eat them too fast. This is nothing fancy, it's just regular stuff you might already have, but put together in a way you may not have tried. Some good, hearty bread, I like 7 grain from our local bakery. A ripe pear, sliced thin. Deli honey ham, sliced thin or shaved. April 29, 2011 at 10:11 AM. Love the Kraft crack!

Life with the ladies. Tuesday, October 26, 2010. I use plain old stew meat, pre-cut and trimmed. I mix about 1/4 cup of flour with black pepper, salt, and some Old World seasoning from Penzeys. Throw the meat in the bag and shake away until coated. Now for the bread! 8 oz Gruyere cheese (1/2 shredded, and half cut into small cubes). 3 c all purpose flour. 4 tsp baking powder. 1 1/2 tsp salt. 1 bottle of beer (they say light bodied, I say Killians). 4 T melted butter (they say unsalted, I say bring it).
