http://lightningboldts.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 12, 2011. Madeline is now a crawling, babbling happy eight month old! She is getting cuter and more animated by the day. Her strawberry blond hair is finally starting to fill in. She still has a ways to go though. I can't wait to be able to put little bows in her hair! In the picture below, I did manage to add a clip to her hair. She just started crawling! She has 4-5 cubes of fruit mixed with baby oatmeal for breakfast. A 5 oz. bottle for snack, then 3-4 cubes of a veggie for l...I swe...

http://lightningboldts.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 17, 2011. Well that didn't go as planned. I lost my job. I was laid off two weeks ago. April 1st actually (April fools to me! The CEO of the company (who I have never spoke to before) called me that afternoon ( I didn't work Friday's) to let me know that the company was sold to another agency and I no longer had a job. All of the administrative staff were let go. I honestly didn't know what to say or think at that point. Did I mention it is on the other side of town? So that is that. 24 Mon...

Tuesday, March 22, 2011. I went back to work about three weeks ago now and I can honestly say that we have all transitioned well! I am also working 4 day weeks now, which makes things a lot easier. Madeline had her 2 month appointment a couple weeks ago. She was 9 lbs. 15 oz! I imagine this summer we will be visiting those tracks a lot. 6 Months: 14 ...

The Boldt Family: Adventures in Baby Food
http://lightningboldts.blogspot.com/2011/07/adventures-in-baby-food.html
Tuesday, July 12, 2011. Adventures in Baby Food. Madeline is starting solids. This time around I decided to make my own organic baby food for a couple reasons. 1 $ $ Baby food is pretty pricey! Especially if you go the organic route. One teensy 2 oz. jar carrots, peas, bananas, etc. can set you back $.60 a jar. I bought all baby food for Emily and spent about $10-15 a week once she started eating three meals a day. This is what peas should look like! On that one bag, I filled 1.5 trays of food. I bought ...

It was only fair for Maddie to follow suit and be a pumpkin fairy! I bought Emily's costume at a yard sale over the summer. She loves twirling in it. Loves the big pouffy skirt. The Boldt Family: Cookies!
http://lightningboldts.blogspot.com/2011/07/cookies.html
Tuesday, July 5, 2011. We decided to do something fun with Emily last week so we made Toll House cookies from scratch! There is nothing better than a homemade cookie. Well maybe the Wegmans Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookies OHMYGAWD they are so good! They almost melt in your mouth as you chew. Anyways! I remember as a kid making them with my mother and had so much fun stirring everything up and then watching the balls of cookie dough "melt" and turn into cookies in the oven. Here is the finished product!
