Recipe Swap: Homemade Laundry Detergent

http://sarahsrecipes.blogspot.com/2011/03/homemade-dishwasher-detergent.html

Thursday, March 17, 2011. After posting this and linking to this, I dug through more comments and found a recipe for homemade dishwasher detergent. If I can spend less money and still get clean dishes, I'm all about it! 1/3 cup Washing Soda (not baking soda). 4 envelopes lemon kool-aid, unsweetened ( or citric acid)–each envelope only costs 8 cents. All of the above was copied and pasted. I have yet to try any of this. I do know you can buy plain citric acid in many pharmacies).

Recipe Swap: Pumpkin Muffins

http://sarahsrecipes.blogspot.com/2010/05/pumpkin-muffins.html

Add to dry ingredients just until mixed an stir in 2 cups choc chips. Divide into muffin cups. Bake 400 for16-20 minutes. Makes 2-3 dozen muffins. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

http://sarahsrecipes.blogspot.com/2006/04/hawaiian-roll-sandwiches.html

Monday, April 24, 2006. This recipe is from Rene Owens and she served these in our potluck last night. They are so yummy, my kids will go crazy over these. O.k. they are not real low fat, but they are worth the splurge. 2 Pkg Hawaiian Rolls. 1 1/2 lbs. Thin Sliced Ham or Roast Beef. 10 Slices Swiss Cheese or American Cheese. Slice rolls in one piece all the way across to make a top and bottom layer. Place meat and cheese on bottom layer. 3/4 tsp. Worcestershire. 1 1/2 Tblsp. Poppy Seed.

not-so-deep thoughts by Denise: November 2008

http://deniselwaldrop.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html

Saturday, November 29, 2008. I didn't shop yesterday. I thought I might go for a $59 Guitar Hero at Target but I knew I'd have to be in line a 5:00 am, to get into the store when it opened a 6:00 am, to buy one of the 5 $59 Guitar Heroes that they had. I'd rather pony up the extra $40. If Santa even buys it, which I'm not sure she (or he) wants to. But are they enough of a bargain to trample someone to death. Or pull a handgun and open fire in a store. What is wrong with people? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

not-so-deep thoughts by Denise: Look How Cute!

http://deniselwaldrop.blogspot.com/2009/02/look-how-cute.html

Thursday, February 19, 2009. Kenny took this shot of me with Harley. This morning I was talking to my mom and she said, "Who's Harley? Then she started to laugh - She'd forgotten about our dog. I told yall - this is all new. We took him back to the SPCA yesterday to get his last shot. We saw his sister that we wanted before him - she was cute but not as much as him! In other news, SoHills is starting a BlogRoll. If you're interested go here. Oh yeah. The kids are great, too. Poo is a funny word!

Thursday, March 24, 2011. I've decided to start writing again. I feel that I may have ideas to write about and explore with anyone that would be reading. I'm constantly looking for new ways to use technology and blogging seems a little bit old school but Twitter really isn't enough for me. I need more characters for my self-expression! not-so-deep thoughts by Denise: June 2008

http://deniselwaldrop.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html

Wednesday, June 25, 2008. My West Texas Girl. My daughter says some funny stuff:. We were driving down 280 in Birmingham (between Lakeshore and 459, for those of you that know) and Abbie asked Jim, "How do you know where you're going? After Jim and I laughed, she said, "It all looks the same.". Jim explained that you have to know where you're going and watch for the turns. He also made some smart-aleck comment about it coming right up on you and being surprised by the turn. Thursday, June 19, 2008. At th...

not-so-deep thoughts by Denise: They Really Do That?

http://deniselwaldrop.blogspot.com/2009/04/they-really-do-that.html

Monday, April 20, 2009. They Really Do That? Having a dog has been interesting. I have learned all kinds of things that I didn't know before:. Dogs lick underwear. (ewwww). Dogs drink from the toilet (his water dish was empty.). Dogs shouldn't bathe. (a little infrequently for my task). Dogs will smell like dog. Dogs can and will eat most anything (a jelly bean? Dogs have to be taught to fetch. Dogs are very much like children. I will have something to write about that isn't about dogs soon.

Friday, January 14, 2011. Posted by Sarah Onken. Tuesday, December 7, 2010. You may have heard of marathons, maybe even walkathons, but this is something you don't hear about everyday. There was a zumbathon held late November in. Anyone who wants to donate but wasn’t able to attend but can do so by going to any branch of the Bank of Commerce or Beehive Credit Union. There have been donation accounts set up under the names Joey Ball or Cydnie Leishman. Posted by Sarah Onken. Wednesday, December 1, 2010.
