This is based on a pattern published in July 1940, in Home Chat magazine. That I got from Lucy @ 1940’s Style For You. I used fingering weight acrylic yarn and US 4 – 3.5 mm needles. I made this because I wanted to practice a lace stitch, which I’d never done before. Very simple pattern, from Free Vintage Knitting. 8211; it’s just a rectangle that you sew together along the sides to make the sleeves. The pattern was originally published in 1953, on the pamphlet.
