Monday, September 1, 2008. Street Kids in Kigali. This face says it all, one of the many reasons I fell in love with these kids. A look at the shoes as they are waiting for their turn. You can see how the one on the right has worn out his shoes completely. Waiting to receive their shoes. These kids are watching their friends try on and receive shoes. They form their own family on the streets and will watch out for each other. Thursday, August 21, 2008. Now that I am home, I am excited to see how God will...

Thursday, August 21, 2008. Now that I am home, I am excited to see how God will use all that I have learned to bring me closer to the woman he has called me to be. My time in Rwanda is over for now, but the adventure is just beginning. Sunday, August 17, 2008. I can't begin to understand the reasons why things are the way they are, but I do know that I am glad my eyes were opened. It truly was a life changing experience, one that really can't be described, only experienced. Friday, August 15, 2008. Today...

Africa '08: Riding the wave of Africa

http://www.sarainrwanda.blogspot.com/2008/08/riding-wave-of-africa.html

Friday, August 15, 2008. Riding the wave of Africa. Yesterday we had our second day of art camp. It was less chaotic than the day before, we definitely streamlined our setting up and rotation of stations. The kids loved the playdough again and I'm quite certain we had several kids in art camp again, even though it was supposed to be a different group. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Sara In Prague

Tuesday, December 11, 2007. Last weekend I went to Vienna and this weekend I went to Berlin. They were both really different cities, but I liked them both! I went to both cities with my program, which means they hired a bus to take us there and organized some things for us to do. We left last Friday at 4:30pm for Vienna. Due to traffic and some bathroom/dinner breaks, we did not arrive to Vienna until close to 10:30. We checked into our hostel and watched some tv. Which was delicious. Then we saw the...

Sara In Real Life. Published on Other Blogs. Musings on Life and Ministry. Be Still and Know. I got to do some writing while I was at the conference last week. I was sitting on the porch of my mountain cabin at Brasstown Valley Resort, the sun was setting, the air around me was warm but not sweltering, the crickets abuzz and the birds singing their evening song. For a minute, I… Read More Be Still and Know. August 10, 2015. Originally posted on SaraInRealLife. August 4, 2015. August 3, 2015. Today is app...

Sara In Salem

Mother. Student, a future Social Worker. Explorer. Dreamer. Just me. Sunday, December 7, 2008. When something had happened, I'd think I gotta write about it. Good things or bad things, I'd just want to remember. I find myself going back to my dream journal, rereading them and remembering. As long as I could remember, I'd write. Why I'd stop writing? I'd say I'm too busy being a mommy, that it changed my life. I stopped thinking "can't" for couple of weeks, boy good things does happen! That's right, I STI...

Links to this post. Thursday, April 24, 2008. Can you have one without the other? No, we're not. In fact, we're going to try and avoid it for as long as possible.". Sara in Scotland | A Semester in St. Andrews

A Semester in St. Andrews. December 15, 2012. It has been way too long since I updated this, but it has been a long few weeks of paper writing and finals. This will probably be one of my last entries from the UK, but I am debating whether or not to continue these, even if it isn’t on this particular site. I am surprised how much I have enjoyed writing these. So, now for updates. Since I last wrote, I took a day trip to the Highlands with Rachel and Frida. It was awesome! Coming to an End.
