Waiting for my Muse: April 2012
http://scatteredthoughtsbybrittany.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Waiting for my Muse. The Experimental Blog of an Aspiring Writer. Sunday, April 15, 2012. What an amazing journey this first year teaching has been! It’s still not over yet, but I am feeling the need to reminisce and process what I can so far. I have felt God so much in the midst of trials, tribulations, and overwhelming stress this year. What has been even more overwhelming though is God’s love and will for me. So many answered prayers mark this year. And the people I work with are absolutely amazing!

Waiting for my Muse. The Experimental Blog of an Aspiring Writer. Monday, January 7, 2013. The Day Noelle was Born. I had just got done working a very long week of teacher in service. I didn’t do much but sit, but it was a big change from taking it easy at the house all summer, sleeping in, taking naps and cooling off in the pool. It was the end of my 35. This was going to be a productive and restful weekend! But God had other plans…. This could not be it! All I wanted to do was sleep. We prayed together...

Waiting for my Muse. The Experimental Blog of an Aspiring Writer. Saturday, December 17, 2011. Content and Carefree Living. 8220;So be content with who you are, and don't put on airs. God's strong hand is on you; he'll promote you at the right time. Live carefree before God; he is most careful with you” (1 Peter 5:6-7 TMB). Content and carefree is how we should live if we really believe that God is in control. Therefore, faith is really all that is required of us. Faith is not a feeling. And do good; ...

Waiting for my Muse. The Experimental Blog of an Aspiring Writer. Saturday, September 6, 2014. You Are Not Who You Currently Are. God, help me to get my eyes off of myself and on the cross. What does that even mean? It means to trust that Jesus died for me. While I was a sinner, he died. I did nothing to earn or deserve it. Nor can I do anything to earn or deserve his grace and mercy and love today. The cross summed up in one word is freedom. Freedom from my own negative thoughts. My kid may throw fits,.

So many things to say, and not enough space in which to say (type?

Imagination is a necessary ingredient in life! Monday, August 18, 2014. You know, I was wary of playing a game wherein you basically date a cake. But I am glad I tried it! The story was interesting and adorable. The main characters had their strong and weak points. And it wasn’t too hard to get all the endings. All in all, a rather splendid. Outside of work, we even get to see her with her hair down and wow, it is long. I wasn’t expecting that. The creators mention on their original post. That they didn&...

Scattered thoughts and mumbles. Wednesday, March 7, 2012. Silence bath is a good way/time to create ideas, isn't it? I think I've also heard a quote saying that best ideas are most of the time created in the bathroom. Hahaha. For the first time in a long time, took a bath without my iPod and tada! Maybe I was actually inspired by this project by Greg Tung called Scare Yourself Everyday. For 365 days, he confronted the things that scare him. And I will update this soon. I just wanted to share some inspiring videos I came across this morning. Check them out - they'll definitely make you want to make someone's day. I'm spending today curled up in bed / on the couch, trying to get rid of a cold before Christmas. I'll use the down time to finish my book, knit some Christmas presents, and watch lots of The Good Wife. I watched two discs of it yesterday - so good! What are you doing this week? Are you finishing (or starting) Christmas shopping? Working up to Christmas Eve?

Waiting for my Muse. The Experimental Blog of an Aspiring Writer. Sunday, April 17, 2016. Boho Chic Bedroom Makeover. It all started with the bedspread. I was continually drawn to colorful, vibrant bohemian inspired bedding, so why not completely redo the bedroom to suit this theme? I found this beautiful bedding from Bed Bath and Beyond:. And so it began- and a Pinterest board was born. Lie #2: It was selfish and foolish of me to use money to makeover my bedroom when there were other ways to spend it.

Monday, June 22, 2015. Push It Around and Fry It Up. Tonight while making soft crabs I remembered the directions my grandmother gave me over 15 years ago. I had asked her for some expert advice on their preparation while visiting with her back in the late 1990s. Like many good foods the directions she gave were simple; pat the crab dry and then dip it into some egg, push it around in a little flour with salt and pepper, and then fry it up until it's ready to eat. Tuesday, March 31, 2015. There were a lot...
