Unit 10, 65 Rivington St. London, EC2A 3QQ. May 20, 2016. Last year Bamboo Crowd ran 100KM to raise money for our chosen charity- Building schools for Africa. This charity was set up in 2006 to help to empower local communities in Cameroon through the building of schools and classrooms across the country. All of the charity organisers are volunteers and so every penny raised goes to the schools in Cameroon. To date the charity have funded the creation of 241 classrooms and 76 schools!

We had a solar electric system installed on our house in London last year by Norman Phipps of Assured Solar. We’ve had the system for a year now, and its output was almost exactly what Norman predicted, which means we’re headed for a 9-year payback time. I’ll blog more about this soon. I can’t recommend Norman enough. Now over to Norman.
