Thursday, May 15, 2014. We are using our expertise with money to run a fun class shop. We love being either shopkeepers or customers. We buy lots and lots of food and treats. Wednesday, May 7, 2014. We had a chat today about different kinds of natural disasters that occur in our world. Luckily we are not directly affected by most of them. We are going to study one kind of disaster for our lego project. Today we took a vote, by means of a data chart, as to which type of disaster we should learn more about.

Today we dressed up as bees and we visited the library to learn all about it. We had a wonderful time at the library. Mr. Faherty's class

Tuesday, 4 October 2016. We know that bread soda and vinegar can be mixed together producing a gas (Carbon Dioxide). We wondered if this gas could power a small rocket. It did, and caused the rocket to blast off. We also decided that this could be done with fizzy tablets and water or with coke and mentos sweets. We must try these sometime. Foam rockets with Ms. McLoughlin's and Mr. Faherty's classes. Cutting a rectangular card into a square, then into 2 equal triangles gives nice fins for the rocket.
