Who, me? | The Broken Bullhorn

Life through my eyes: reviews and comments. My name is Richard Robinson. I’m retired and live in Portland, Oregon. I’ve been reading science fiction and mysteries since I was a kid, and discovered fantasy – first Leiber and Howard, then Tolkein – not long after. I’ve written columns and reviews for several mystery genre periodicals and published a mystery fanzine for sixteen years. I’m opinionated and sometimes rant. Take that into account, or don’t. http://billcrider.blogspot.com/2009/08/this-is-me-jack-vance-jack-vance.html
Wednesday, August 12, 2009. This Is Me, Jack Vance - Jack Vance. The first book I ever read by Jack Vance was. A "travel through wonders" adventure that was 1/2 of an old Ace Double (well, it wasn't old when I read it; it was brand new). I've read it a couple of times since, and it's still a favorite, along with. The Demon Princes series, and many others. So I'm in the target audience for Vance's brief autobiography. Some years ago, Scott Cupp. Vances praise of your work is well deserved, Bill. Tuesday's...
