The Fear | Scrawled Ramblings
https://scrawledramblings.wordpress.com/2014/09/24/the-fear
Fragments of thought; the building blocks of creativity. Beyond the Compass’ Navigation →. I’m so grateful for The Fear. The crippling, painful fright. Of all the unknowns. To dive into the abyss. Is a tempting pursuit. From my collection of old knowns. I stand upon the edge. Looking down, over, across. Pushed by my fear. Til I teeter on the brink. The fear’s allegiance changes. It comes around to face me. And shoves me into limbo. Pushed, pulled,. And hating The Fear. Posted by Mark Dolan.

It holds a certain mystery. Within the murky land. Stand pillars of control. In the distance rises stone. The sight was to behold.

I will never forget the laughter and the general look of confusion from people who couldn’t understand why I never got rid of my Levi Strauss overalls from the 90s. “No one will wear overalls again” they said. Scrawled in Wax | WHERE MODERN THINGS MELT INTO OTHER MODERN THINGS
WHERE MODERN THINGS MELT INTO OTHER MODERN THINGS. The Turban Emoji and Broadchurch’s Murderer. May 29, 2015. A little while ago, when Apple introduced a new set of “more diverse” emoji, the response might be summed up best as : praise hands emoji. As someone who has often expressed that same yearning to see myself in media and other forms of normative representation, I found myself agreeing. All the same, there were outliers. At Macleans, Adrian Lee argued that. The “turban guy emoji” is an ...It’...

Wednesday, May 16, 2012. Ang Halawom, or the deep is my newest finished bronze piece. It is a visual commentary on meetings with majestic creatures, in this case, the jellyfish, in the depths. This piece was inspired by the curious nature of these creatures which are both fragile and breathtaking, yet at the same time, are somehow inextricably linked with danger and destruction. This was a rushed photograph. I hope I can find the time and equipment to post better images of this piece in the days to come.
