Thursday, March 27, 2008. Life Continues to rock. Ali Edwards and Elsie Flannigan are my two favorite scrapbookers. It was so much fun to get to interview them! I loved talking to Ali about her book: Life Artist. It is such a cool concept. And see more interviews here. Tuesday, March 25, 2008. I love my job! Remember awhile back when I announced that I rocked my own socks and things were going really well at work? This is one of the things I was excited about. Thanks for the interview, Elsie! I have also...

I'm a 30-something-year-old who is learning to balance life, work, studying and family. I love books, music, the colour pink and red wine. This is my journey, my life's scribbles. An unwanted trip down memory lane. This morning about a 12-year-old girl who committed suicide – all because the 'cool group' saw her as fat and ugly. This brought back a rush of memories from my own school years, memories that still sting 14 years after leaving school…. I’ve been told that my school experience sharpen an...

Thursday, March 26, 2015. Let's hear it for the MEN. So in one of my classes this week, the discussion turned to how men are not valued in today's world. In the statistics, women have higher GPAs, higher abilities in the work world even if their salaries still are lower. Women are more sensitive, better at communication, blah blah etc. Basically the idea that men are obsolete and a strong woman is better off without one. But can I just say MEN ARE AMAZING. Too. Men are amazing too. Men are dumb." No!

A multitude of random thoughts some serious ponderings a little bit of creativity = a collection of my scribbles :). Thursday, January 10, 2013. Just so you know, I'll be blogging over at my sister blog for the next few months. I had to set up a blog at Wordpress for one of my classes this semester, and instead of going back and forth between the two, I'll just be blogging over there. You can find me at www.scribblesbymegan.wordpress.com. Same name. Different site. Easy peasy, huh? Dinner with my family.

scribbles by megan | "The quietest people have the loudest minds."
The quietest people have the loudest minds. A Little Bit About Me. Posted in My Walk. I got a text from my dad today: “Please call Gayle. She keeps calling for you.”. So, I brushed aside my embarrassment and called Gayle today. As always, she greeted me with such joy. After a well-deserved reprimand for my neglect, Gayle surprised me. I inhaled deeply. Wow. I don’t think I was ready to absorb that profound of a statement on a Saturday morning. Profound, yet so simple. Once Upon a Time. I see this curse a...

Scribbles By Ro - ...all things considered
8230;all things considered. Beyond Life Alert, The eBook. Lay Down Your God-Guns; America Won. June 28, 2015. I appreciate that my long-time and dear friend, Tim, shared a piece from Time Magazine today on Facebook, as I’ve struggled to understand the intense demagoguery and proclaimed victim-hood of the Christian Right for nearly a decade now, especially on the issue of gay rights and my rights as a woman. Voting Republican and other failed culture war strategies are not going to save us now. Interestin...

Hi, I'm Sam. Farm Tales wedding suite. Had the pleasure of illustrating for #smallbugsforever. Bride-to-be turned my illustrations into a gif! Work in progress: Uncolored version is giving off some haunted house vibes…. Perils of being left handed. Attempting to use a spiral notebook backwards. Unfortunately, Cow did not make it to the final round. Sneak peek of the final product….some of my favorite veggies from the mix. Sadly I can’t draw any trains. 12/7 water color study of Harold the stuffed seal.
