A dizzying look at my world. Friday, September 26, 2008. Normalcy. I never thought that the word would ring such a sweet sound or be treasured and desired by so many. That's a word that so many want in the Houston/Galveston area. A word that, up until now, it wasn't thought of much. A lot of people went back to school and work this week. A dizzying look at my world. Sunday, June 28, 2009. So many things happened to my co-workers, good and bad. When we left work on Friday, we breathed a sigh of relief that the weekend was finally here. Last weekend, Donna's daughter got married. This was something was expected and the closer it got to the wedding date, the bride became more nervous (as well as the mother of the bride! A dizzying look at my world. Thursday, May 28, 2009. We are finished with TAKS testing at work now, so today my boss' boss treated us to a pizza lunch. We ate there at work, around our conference table. I always feel so intimidated with her around. (Looks like I've been intimated lately, huh? Of course, they didn't, but it doesn't make you feel any better. We also have our Leader Appreciation dinner tomorrow night. I always like to go to those because they give out awards (and they have prizes!

A dizzying look at my world. Thursday, July 30, 2009. I took Monday and Tuesday off this week. I had planned to take my Girl Scout troop on Monday to Schlitterbahn Galveston. A dizzying look at my world. Wednesday, December 24, 2008. One thing that a parent fears is when your child is sick with some disease that could be serious. Last week, I experienced those fears, and the only thing I could do is pray. I had to clean up where she missed.) This is when I got concerned. I made a decision to get her to the doctor. Whenever we mention the word "vet" around Mary (our other cat), she conveniently hides so that we can't find her.
