Eugene is after Andy's father and only the middle name has changed since we had this picked out for Jillian if by chance she was a boy. Our girl's name was harder to come by. Andy vetoed all my names on my list. Great ones, too, like Fiona and Phoebe and Elinore and Helena. This baby seems too feisty. Ha Not him. We'll see. Busy that time of year.

Thursday, October 19, 2006. 1 Jillian tried to feed the kitty and give the kitty treats last night. It broke my heart. Andy and I talked about getting another kitty. After the holidays (I think! And he wants a kitten. Oye. I am not ready for a kitten, but I think it will be the best. 2 I am done being pregnant. I am so incredibly. 3 I need to scrap at least 3 pages tonight. Think I can do it? Tonight. Maybe I can get a start on them this afternoon. 4 Good TV tonight. Survivor. CSI. Shitty I tell you.

Saturday, February 25, 2006. Sometimes you just have to shake your head. I swear, my parents have forgotten what it was like to raise a kid. They'll buy her toys unfit for her age. Offer her foods that she should not be eating. The best is when they call during nap time with useless iformation. My ass was burned this morning because of the last item. Thursday, September 28, 2006. Today is a trial run at the new daycare. There were tears by Jillian when I left and I have not called. I do believe she is fine and will be picking her up in less than an hour. Short day today. Hopefully the report I get when I go to get her will be good. I will never know. But how does a police officer. Miss the signals for one lane ahead and crash into the blockades? I am hoping to get some scrapbooking done this afternoon while J is napping and tonight after CSI. Monday, November 28, 2005. For better or worse. I have been told that the first year of marriage is the hardest. Sometimes I wonder if we rushed into things. If we were too young. 27 doesn't seem too young to me, but maybe it was. Is. Whatever the case, we are in it for the long haul. The anger and frustration is easily healed with an "I'm Sorry" and a kiss or three. For better or worse. Till death do us part. And we're serious about making this work.
