For the students in my class the snow days and the resultant long weekend seemed to be the perfect opportunity for them to forget any knowledge they had retained even last Friday. Most of the students were unable to remember what they did that day let alone what they had learned. So how on earth do we combat this?

Teaching English Through Sasafrasquatch. This Week In Review. January 25, 2008. This is a condensed idea of what I did in the class. All in all this week was very beneficial. I made a couple of goofs in my presentations, and handout assignments, but I am very apt to learn from my mistakes. After all of this complaining, I have come to realize that this year will probably represent the way my first year of teaching. I know that I will be really stressed out the entire year until I get my teaching bearings. Essentially, this year will be a good experience for me in the future.
