2012年9月9日(日)に、ロスアンゼルスのGardenaで行われた「新撰組」レストラン主催の大きな夏祭りイベントに、遠いところサンディエゴからSDJENメンバーが助っ人に飛んで行きました！（日本からも２００人のツアー客が来るほどの大きなイベントでした）. 盛岡冷麺など岩手の物産品を販売し、一旦集められた収益金は被災した４県へ送られます。一部SDJENへいただいた寄付金は、冬に中高生たちをアメリカ体験ホームステイに呼び寄せるための資金として使われます。 メンバーのよしえさん、しんごさん、まさしさん、あつみさん、暑い中本当にお疲れさまでした！ 盛岡冷麺など岩手の物産品を販売しました（盛岡冷麺は完売！）. 岩手県人になりすまし（？）頑張ってくれました！♪. Wednesday, March 24, 2010. I made a sobering discovery last week: there are actually gray hairs growing out of the top of my head. My first thought was, "Why have none of my tall friends told me about this? Stiff, wiry little suckers, they are not very long, which leads me to believe they are pretty recent acquisitions.
