Saturday, December 29, 2007. Elliot who is just recently 2 loved it too! By the end of the day and after opening presents three times, it did get a bit exhausting for us all. Today is our sixth anniversary and our kids are asleep in bed sick with colds and we're about to have hamburgers and French sparkling wine to celebrate! Tuesday, April 17, 2007. Today Elliot is 16 months old! He is a talker, a charmer and loves to be picked up by anyone he thinks looks nice. He's almost running sometimes too which is fun to watch. He loves playing "ring around the rosie." with Claire and me. It is fun to see how excited he gets to play with Claire. Tuesday, November 30, 2004. Today was a slow day. After the busy Thanksgiving holiday and having Brian home for five days, I think I'm feeling the low from the lack of stimulation. Yes, Claire's busy and can keep me busy, but I want more. I'm looking forward to subbing again, but so far I've only received one call. It was for today, but since it was the last day of the month I would've had to pay sub dues for the entire month even though I'd only work one day. I can wait. Para; 6:16 PM. Para; 8:16 AM.

We have a program where we have several chaplains on-call who are available to respond to people who've just experienced tragedy in their life. It is a great idea. Some of them are pretty interesting, but one today was very sad. Our detectives are on the verge of breaking up a large, local prostitution ring. Their big break was when one of the prostitutes was sent to the hospital by her pimp. What is America to this girl? This might not be a good thing, but I'm pretty good at compartmentalizing my life. I'm still in a spiritual funk, but my home life and professional life are very good. I'm praying that the warm weather and rest will lift my spirits! The lawsuit settlement came in and repairs have begun on the front porches and reroofing our townhomes.
