Mike's Fishing Blog. To take my mind off. Posted by Mike Keryeski on Aug 9. Laquo; Carpin with Steve and Michelle. Had the pleasure of guiding. Tomorrow’s colonoscopy I decided to go carpin at the club. I hooked 7 0r 8, missed a lot more than that, but did manage to land 3 whoppers. The conditions were perfect for the carp. Changed to trout and picked up 6 really nice fish….then came the rain, and I do mean rain! I am amazed at the “health” of the creek and the health of the fish. Mike's Fishing Blog. Carpin with Steve and Michelle. Posted by Mike Keryeski on Aug 5. Laquo; Pounded the carp. To take my mind off. Turned into a great day. Steve and Michelle started the day off with a bang! They were into fish as soon as we got there. I missed hit after hit after hit. When I finally did connect I managed around 6 or 7 for the day, and Steve did that number easily and more. Michelle and Roscoe took some great pics and videos of the day and when I get them I will post them.

Mike's Fishing Blog. Guided at the club. Posted by Mike Keryeski on Jun 26. Laquo; 40 years ago. Carpin’ turned to trout today. With Steve hosting 3 guys from Allison Park. The creek was high, slightly stained, and it rained all day. The fish did not mind. The guys caught 3 over 20 and hooked the palomino, but lost the goldie after a brief fight. After lunch we concluded the day at the lower quad bridge where the guys caught a ton of fish. You can follow any responses to this entry through the RSS 2.0.

The flow. color, weather, and fishing were as good as it could get. Uploaded a few carp vid’s and will put up a trout vid in the morning. Mike's Fishing Blog. Posted by Mike Keryeski on May 29. Cross another off the bucket list. Went to Key West with Paula, MG, and Angela and booked a charter for tarpon. Missed one (Pa hook set) but hooked a fifty pounder on a black/purple bunny fly. After a 20 minute fight, finally landed him.
