Pottery is my greatest passion. I grew up watching my aunts: Sandy painting porcelain, Holly making many different types of crafts, and Mary sewing, quilting and refinishing furniture. It was these women, and many others, that inspired me to pursue a career in the arts. I have had many other strong influences in my life whom have worked hard and impressed upon me that you can stand tall and make it your own way! We also care for 1 cat and 1 dog.

I draw inspiration from 2 heroic women that are patron saints of potters. Saints Justa and Rufina (Ruffina). Their legend states that they were sisters and natives of Seville who made fine. For a living, with which they supported themselves and many of the city's poor. Justa was born in. AD, Rufina in. The city's prefect, Diogenianus, ordered them to be imprisoned. Failing to convince them to renounce their faith, he had them. This method also having failed, they were imprisoned, where they suffered from.
