What You Don't See. September 28, 2010. Writers block has abandoned me! Tied with brutal ropes I laid. On the freezing floor, each day. Thrashing, screaming to be free. With thoughts of someone saving me. Time passed, while desperation crept. In me awake and while I slept. A loss of life, feeling and hope. I’d hang myself with those damn ropes…. Distant voices soothed some pain. Yet my intentions still remained. While it was bound to happen, still. Expectations aim to kill. I smiled as I thought of this.

What You Don't See. June 15, 2010. Take my heart, and if you please. Open your hands and set it free. Let it disconnect from me. And have my body be empty. To a place where love cannot exist. Where feelings, emotions, are absent. So I can forget all of this pain. That I’ve endured, that cannot be tamed. Take it to a perfect place. Where we all go at the same pace. Where thinking is prohibited. Where it is just “something” to live. To a land so bitter, yet so sweet. So to not remember how I’ve weeped.
