Darcy Cline Design: In for a Penny, In for 16 Ounces
http://darcyclinedesign.blogspot.com/2013/06/in-for-penny-in-for-16-ounces.html
Monday, June 3, 2013. In for a Penny, In for 16 Ounces. Ah, the Card Dance. I do love a good slide show and the Card Dance is pretty darn awesome. (I only used 8 pictures though, not 16. It couldn't be helped. this is me trying not to "make the universe when I was asked to make a ball."). Once I came to the lab, the problems magically removed themselves and it left me wondering if I had imagined the whole thing. "No," my family says. Here lies the Card Dance. http://darcysartlife.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Art in the Life. Sunday, September 29, 2013. Once upon a time, I wrote a blog post about my mom's best friend, Joanne Prokop. You can find the post, A Kinder Kidney, in the December/2012 folder. I wrote about Joanne's struggle to find a kidney donor. She has Polycystic Kidney Disease and has been waiting to find a match with a donor. After four long years of waiting. a match has been found and Joanne goes in for transplant surgery tomorrow to replace her failing kidneys. Sunday, September 22, 2013. At th...

Art in the Life: June 2013
http://darcysartlife.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Art in the Life. Friday, June 21, 2013. I am now two weeks out the other side of finishing my time at Pierce College. Whew! I have discovered many things about myself throughout this "Back to School Journey" and some of these things surprise me. A few of my personal and educational discoveries are:. From Point A to Point B, I like to finish things. I felt compelled to tie in my blogs numerically in relationship to the assignment number. The line-up issue can cause my husband to sigh and carry on.). The C...

Darcy Cline Design: April 2013
http://darcyclinedesign.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 29, 2013. Working on the font was like finding buried treasure as each new glyph is revealed. I found it easier to make the lower case fonts because I already had a design which made working out the elements go faster. I like the way everything turned out. See the results below. Hail to the animated 3D Pop-Up Photo Gallery. I get to show something off! I mean, I get to show some skills in Adobe After Effects! See the results by clicking on the white triangle in the middle of the video screen.

Art in the Life: August 2012
http://darcysartlife.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Art in the Life. Tuesday, August 14, 2012. Growing up I didn't play many games but, Gerard and I began playing games before we were married in 1981. I remember the time my best friend, J.Patt and her partner were visiting. We played a game called Hand and Foot (similar to Canasta). It took me a while but I figured out that Gerard and J.Patt were cheating! I found out that he has a history of stacking the deck so other people would win. This particular incident was not for my benefit. She never knew Gerar...

Darcy Cline Design: 13 Coins
http://darcyclinedesign.blogspot.com/2013/05/13-coins.html
Monday, May 20, 2013. Way back in the day of Sting's Glory days, there was a restaurant called 13 Coins. This seems like a bit of foreshadowing to me because 13 coins went bankrupt in the '90s and closed, restructured, then opened again. Maybe like lightening, bad luck doesn't strike in the same place twice. This week's assignment, as usual has a very thin thread that leads to my intro. The number 13, although bad luck for the restaurant, good luck for game-making aficionados everywhere. Art in the Life.

Art in the Life: Quick Question!
http://darcysartlife.blogspot.com/2013/08/quick-question.html
Art in the Life. Monday, August 12, 2013. Does it seem odd to anyone else to drive halfway across one farming state and only see two different crops? Recently, my daughter and I went to Iowa and while we were there, we saw some lovely scenery, historic sights and a whole lot of corn. Scattered throughout some of these massive corn fields were smaller crops of soy beans. In 2006, farmers were paid $40,000 per person on the farm or $80,000 per couple, depending on their crop, of course. The top three state...

Saturday, June 8, 2013. 19 The Ancients called this the ‘Number of Surrender’ for your life needs to link up with the Universal Life. So here we are at the end of the quarter and the last entry on this blog. What better way to end it than to delve into a little Numerology as we wind up old accounts and bring everything into focus. This is where you may watch the Lightwave Hair System Tutorial ( http:/ vimeo.com/30132850. And here in this blog is where you can compare the old and new versions of my cat.
