Saturday, December 20, 2008. Mr Bolsh and I had our 1 year wedding. Anniversary last July, but due to an unpleasant day. Before our anniversary we never celebrated. Since we've both been busy with our jobs, and other activities finding a weekend when it was just the two of us has been difficult. We finally made time to celebrate after my recent trip from Vietnam. I made a very wintery meal for a summer celebration but it was enjoyed. But back to food - Since the Bolsh family date night ended up falling o...

Fueled by Popcon: March 2008

Monday, March 31, 2008. Strawberries. I love them. I saw them at the market last weekend and bought them - but they are such a tease. Early berries are never that great, let alone those sour California berries! I can't wait until Oregon's sweet berry season starts. With that said, I was inspired by the berries and make this cake:. Vanilla cake with strawberry jam filling and strawberry frosting. I made the strawberry frosting by mixing strawberry jam and powdered sugar with some earth balance. Just wante...

Fueled by Popcon: Eating Through the Alphabet
http://fueledbypopcorn.blogspot.com/2010/02/eating-through-alphabet.html
Sunday, February 14, 2010. Eating Through the Alphabet. When I was 8 I started participating in Lent - I vowed to turn off the lights every time I left the room. Each year from then on I gave something up every year to better my life. This was odd since I grew up Protestant in a Mormon community, where I picked up this Catholic tradition of giving up something every Lent, I do not know. 16 years ago I gave up meat and never went back. 11 years ago I went vegan and never went back. 2 Eat rice as needed.

I have never had/heard of chicken tetrazzini before but i knew you couldn’t go wrong with vegan cream of mushroom soup, white wine, fakin’ bacon, and chick strips! We LOVE morningstar’s meal starter chick strips because they can be used in so many different recipes. they truly are a. We borrowed the cream of mushroom soup recipe from fat free vegan kitchen.

S as a topping. we used our usual packaged dough mix and added some fresh rosemary from darren’s garden. The only thing i wish i did differently would be to make more! In other news….MY VESPA IS RUNNING! I bought it 3 years ago…in boxes. Josh and i went to the guy who bought it (for...
