Gardner Family: September 2011
http://usgardners.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 22, 2011. Guest post from Grant today. Thursday, September 8 was a busy day for us - the morning was spent at the Oklahoma City Temple as part of our Stake Temple Day with Gma Gardner acting as gracious baby sitter, then that evening was the Member Night at the Tulsa Zoo. So we packed up Gma and Gpa Gardner and headed off for a few hours of afternoon and evening animal watching. And just like last year: WOW! Such a great experience, which we've detailed below. ;). Farley Tina and Colee.

http://chrisandevelynporter.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 19, 2012. Kiley's favorite ride was Star Tours (and thanks to an extra pair of socks, some stretching while being measured, and fast pass she was able to ride it four times. We enjoyed Toon Town and the Princess Village as well (unfortunately we did not get many pictures of Kiley with the princesses, but she LOVED it! She got to give Ariel, Belle, and Tiana hugs. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the trip. Location: Disneyland Park, 1313 Disneyland Railroad, Anaheim, CA 92802, USA.

Chris and Evelyn Porter Family: July 2012
http://chrisandevelynporter.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 23, 2012. We were lucky to spend a couple of weeks in Hawaii in July. Chris, his parents, and the kids had a lot of fun. I was there for Navy Reserve duty so I had fun when I could. We stayed in a little two bedroom duplex that was right on the beach. It was a great place to stay. View from the Lanai of our beach cottage. Kiley feeding the ocean sand. This and jumping the waves were her favorite things to do. Clinton loved playing in the sand. He was not as keen on the water. Our 1 year old.

Chris and Evelyn Porter Family: Garden of the Gods
http://chrisandevelynporter.blogspot.com/2012/08/garden-of-gods.html
Sunday, August 12, 2012. Garden of the Gods. The day after the Color Run. And our trip to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. We toured the Garden of the Gods. It is actually a city park and is free for all to enjoy. I wish more beautiful places were like this. If you ever find yourselves near Colorado Springs I would highly recommend it as the scenery is beautiful and there are lots of trails to hike. This is a photo of the large formation at the center of the park. There is a road. Links in the Chain.

Friday, September 30, 2011. Chris did a great job on the blessing and Clinton was the best behaved of all the babies that were blessed that day (there were two others). He stayed quite and happy for the whole thing! I was better prepared this time and actually got some pictures. Kiley was too busy playing with her cousins to participate in the family pictures. Kiley was going through a. Kiley holding Clinton all by herself! Here are some pictures from his first bath. Kiley insisted on helping!

Chris and Evelyn Porter Family: The Changing of the Seasons
http://chrisandevelynporter.blogspot.com/2012/09/the-changing-of-seasons.html
Sunday, September 30, 2012. The Changing of the Seasons. Since we were gone for most of the summer, we weren't able to take advantage of some of the benefits of living in Utah. (National Parks, camping, etc.) But we came home from our last trip to the changing of the seasons. This year we made sure that we took advantage of the opportunities to enjoy nature and it's beauty at this time of year. The trail around Payson Lake in its autumnal splendor. Kiley on the lakeshore. Fallen leaves along the trailway.

Friday, September 24, 2010. Trip to Blanding in Aug. We went back out to Blanding in Aug because of Grandma Arthur's stroke and eventual passing (see previous post) so here are some of the things we got to do while out there. Getting ready to go- as I was packing I found the kiddos in their bedroom. Then to contain them I threw them in the laundry. Riding in the back of the pickup. Can't get enough of traveling. I was lucky to get to see my cousin, from the Hurst side of the family as well, with her boys!

Chris and Evelyn Porter Family: Color Run
http://chrisandevelynporter.blogspot.com/2012/10/color-run.html
Saturday, August 11, 2012. Here are some pictures of the run. It was such a good time. The girls had a BLAST, although they were quite tired by the time the day was all over. We let the kids get out of the stroller and walk through the color stations so they could get splashed as well. After the run, just waiting for the first of the color celebrations! Getting closer to being able to throw their color packets in the air. Throwing their color packets at each other. Two very tired, but happy girls.

Chris and Evelyn Porter Family: June 2012
http://chrisandevelynporter.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 30, 2012. Just before leaving for Hawaii we went to the Melo Family Reunion (June 28th and 29th). It is always nice to be able to spend time with the Melo extended family. I did not get very many pictures this year. Here are a couple of the Melo grandchildren that were able to make it to Shawn's birthday party at McDonalds. Somehow they ended up with a lot of blonde grandchildren. Clinton, Grandpa, and Aunt Karen. Clinton was not so sure about the four-wheeler. Posted by Evelyn Porter.

Chris and Evelyn Porter Family: Baseball Game
http://chrisandevelynporter.blogspot.com/2012/10/baseball-game.html
Friday, August 3, 2012. After spending some time in Hawaii Chris and the kids went back to California with his parents while I finished out my time in Hawaii. Playing at the beach. Kiley in front of the Tony Gwynn statue. Chris and Kiley at Petco Park. It was a very busy summer for us. By the time it was over I think we were somewhat grateful to be back to work and some sort of a routine. Posted by Evelyn Porter. Location: 200 Park Blvd, San Diego, CA 92101, USA.
