Spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), is the number one genetic killer of children under the age of two. SMA is a degenerative disease of the anterior horn cells. 11/1 Thankful for…. She loves for anyone to “lay with her” even though that means we lay on the floor next to her toddler mattress. :-). I’m thankful that she loves to pray and sing at night. And I think it’s still sweet that she sleeps with the blanket she came home from the hospital with, even though it’s now too short and doesn’t even cover her all up!
