Monday, November 18, 2013. Qing Xiao Zhu :庆晓珠. Before we knew who our new daughter would be, I had often wondered about her name. I was so ready to find out who she was, and where she was, but also the name she had been given. In the Chinese culture, names are very important and they all mean something. When we did find her in September, I spent days trying to find out the meaning of her names, but not being familiar with the Chinese language, it was really difficult. Xiao = the breaking of the dawn.

Sunday, November 2, 2014. I just scrolled though my phone and realized how behind I was in preserving the daily pictures. Here is a month's worth of Kaili moments!
