Cheer's, Attitude, Customer Service, and Fungible. Fungible: When one product or service is easily replace by another. It is no secret that I moved recently. Although the move was only about 10 miles from a neighborhood that I have lived in for 38 years, it is a new neighborhood to me and I am having a great time exploring it. It helps that I have worked near this neighborhood for the last four years so it is not completely unknown; even so, everyday I discover new favorite places. Links to this post.

Cooking again instead of sewing. I said earlier this year I would test my favorite recipes and organize a cook book. Cook Book Resolution. Over ripe, but acceptable banana. This is Dot. She likes to be in the middle of any project that gets to the cut table. Dot in a Cat-Trap. This week she discovered foam. Dressmaker scissors are flat, with the handles off to an angle. This keeps your fabric as flat as possible so you get an accurate cut. Precision matters when it comes to fit. Sharp matters too, as it makes the job easier. Here are my favorite dressmaker scissors. The orange handle ones on the top right are Fiskars.
