http://bandblaidlaw.blogspot.com/2012/05/we-were-at-laidlaws-and-while-i-was.html
Thursday, May 31, 2012. We were at the Laidlaw's and while I was cutting hair Sherry had the girls outside. Part way through the cut they came in and Sherry said to look, so I did, and nearly died at the cuteness. (is cuteness a word? Well it is now! I made Ben hurry and take a video of it, he wasn't fast enough getting it set up, so she backed them up and started again. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). At two weeks old. At two weeks old. The Laidlaws: August 2012
http://bandblaidlaw.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 16, 2012. I have so many pictures to catch up on from the summer, it is embarassing. Instead I will just go with this today. Abby's first day of second grade was yesterday, she was so excited! She had her clothes picked out for literally a month! She folded them and hid them somewhere in her room so they would be clean and ready to go, ha! We dropped her off in her class and as we got back in the car Jack sighed and said "Oh Mom, I miss her already! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Laidlaws: September 2012
http://bandblaidlaw.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 13, 2012. Anyone who talks to me about sewing knows how much I seriously LOVE Oliver S patterns. I rarely sew with any other brand anymore. So I recently saw a ruffle trench pop up in my facebook feed that someone had commented on to buy and I KNEW I could make one myself (and for much, much less! So I ordered the pattern and obsessed about it for a week until it arrived. I bought the material the night it arrived and had it nearly all sewn. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). At two weeks old.

The Laidlaws: December 2011
http://bandblaidlaw.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 29, 2011. So Jack hadn't had a real haircut (no more than 1/8th of an inch) since. June, I think? His only requirement was a candy cane. and Frosty on t.v. He was upset at first when he saw the ends were colored, but then Ben lied and said it will wash out. Ummm. it wont. but after I styled it he loved it. Though the next morning, and everytime he has had a bath since, he says "but the yellow hasn't washed out yet! Tuesday, December 6, 2011. I had MAJOR cabin fever yesterday! Starting ...

Designs by BellaBug: Oliver + S Family Reunion Dress
http://www.designsbybellabug.com/2012/07/oliver-s-family-reunion-dress.html
Saturday, 7 July 2012. Oliver S Family Reunion Dress. This is Boo's favourite new dress. I have made her the blouse version of this pattern (see here. And it really suited her. The pattern is the Family Reunion Dress from oliver s. I used the sewing machine to attach the buttons for the first time. It has always been a function I shied away from and now I have done it, I feel a bit silly for being so apprehensive. It is SO much quicker than sewing them on by hand! Designs by BellaBug: Run run as fast as you can....
http://www.designsbybellabug.com/2015/07/run-run-as-fast-as-you-can.html
Monday, 6 July 2015. Run run as fast as you can. L's nursery requested a Fox costume for the end of year play. My little girl is cast as the sly red fox from the story of the Gingerbread Man. The call came in for orange trousers and top. Well I am sorry, but that wasn't going to happen! For starters, orange is not a colour we tend to buy and it seems, not a lot of shops sell orange trousers anyway. I looked. Then I remembered a tutorial. In mind I bought the offcut for only £3.71. Bargain! Thank you to e...
