Sewing, small holding and the craziness of motherhood. Monday, 1 April 2013. YayBetty has at last stated laying eggs! My mum bought me Betty from Middle Farm to be a girlfriend for my Poland boy Ludwig. Sadly Ludwig didn't make it through his first winter at the farm (these are not hardy birds) but Betty has been going strong and now has had nooky with a welsummer Cockerell.
