Sewing, knitting, and other good stuff. June 1, 2016. I managed to fit in one more quick project at the tail end of Kid’s Clothes Week – a romper made with Purl Soho’s free Summer Romper for Kids. Pattern. I noticed this pattern last summer when it was released, but completely forgot about it until recently when I saw this lovely version. And so, to reward myself for all that cleaning and organizing, I sat down and knit two shrugs in rapid succession. The first shrug is knit in a pinky-purple coloured Quince Finch. Sewing, knitting, and other good stuff. May 26, 2016. Well, I seem to have fallen off the practical-summer-clothes wagon. This dress is decidedly un-practical, but oh so pretty. The pattern is Straight Grain’s Hanami dress. The fabric is from Monaluna’s Haiku collection, and I purchased it here. Sewing, knitting, and other good stuff. KCW – Mini Hudsons and a Flashback. May 24, 2016. It’s Kid’s Clothes Week. I don’t have anything too exciting to show for day 1, but one of my goals for the week is to sew some basic play clothes that will get worn a lot this summer (and that I won’t worry about getting dirty and covered with drippy ice cream). So, I started by rummaging through my scrap bin, and managed to piece together just enough of these fabrics to make a Flashback Tee. They are really cute!
