Tuesday, May 8, 2012. Prom: Featuring Vogue 8360 and Simplicity 1908. I know its been way too long since the last time I posted on my blog but I've been. Lined dresses A, B, C have pleated inset, shoulder strap variations, hook and eye closure, skirt with gathers and invisible zipper. C: contrast inset, bodice overlay, overskirt and gathered shoulder straps. 6-10; the pattern runs slightly large so I cut the dress 1 size smaller than the pattern indicated for L’s bust size. I had no dislikes whatsoever!

Sew Your Own Way. Monday, March 12, 2012. Quilt Stars: First Block. I complain about my LQS a lot, but I am truly glad that it is there. They don't have any modern fabrics, but they have a huge selection of Kona cottons. I have taken a couple classes there, and I have enjoyed them all. At the end of the 12 months, we will all get together and get our blocks. I'm excited to see how the quilts turn out! I'm planning to use all solids when it is my turn. Which one looks best to you?
