洪家拳是南少林寺，至善禅师对外传授并相传至今的著名南拳种之一。其套路招式多两侧重复练习。拳出要求猛，实，快，爆发力强。马步要求沉稳扎实。拳式大开大展，多注重腰，桥，马的训练。洪拳桥手更是其他拳术中所未见。练习洪拳须步稳势慢，蓄劲发力方可能将威猛气魄蕴练于内，才能身轻气足，筋强骨健。

Jow Gar (Zhou Jia) Martial Art. Jow Gar is a form of southern martial arts created by its founder Master Zhou Long (周龙) which is passed down from one generation after another. Its moves are practical in real combat with its swift, ferocious and flexible punches and kicks, which also confers it the name “southern fist and northern kick” (南拳北腿). The sequences are continuous, consist of few repetitions and executed swiftly. This form of self-defence is ideal in training one’s agility and stamina.
