This is my last post of the tank museum in Munster. I have still more pictures, but I think this should suffice now. This is the 8,8 cm Flak. The 8,8 cm was not only a anti-aircraft gun, this famous weapon had also success as a antitank gun. My grandfather has destroyed with the 8,8 two airplanes and several Russian T-34 tanks. My first post in 2007. I hope everybody had a great New Years Eve party and a good start in the year 2007. In the last time I haven't written very often in my blog and now I will do it more often. In the last months I had problems with my internet connection and since two weeks I have a very fast broadband internet connection. I have a guilty conscience because I haven't answered comments from my friends and visited their blogs. I took many photos with my new SLR camera and now I will show some of them.

I have many problems and in the last time more and more problems. I write this post on the computer from my nephew because my computer is damaged some hours ago, perhaps the hard disk. Probably I have lost all addresses, my photos, application documents, about two hundred scans from the book "Wir Maedel", everything. The computer is one of the most important things in my life. The German government has probably very little confidence in its citizens. Now they want to forbid the soft air weapons. Correctly, the plastic toy weapons. The last weekend I made a trip to the Baltic Sea island Fehmarn with my nephew Christian. He is 18 years old and the oldest son from my sister. We arrived the island on Friday afternoon and search after a good campground. We drove around the island and found a good place at the town Klausdorf near the city Puttgarden. This is Christian, he sat on a rock at the beach. He is a soccer player and umpire, he broke his arm during a soccer game some weeks ago. Here can you see the cliff line and the nice beach.

On Saturday I had visit my cousin Dennis, we celebrated his birthday and he became 25 years old on this day. It was a big party, I have had some drinks and therefore I had slept in my cousins house. My sister had one day later her birthday, she became 39 years old. I have seen a lot of family members, my aunt, my uncle and my cousins from the Baltic Sea and many more. Last Friday I have got heavy pain in my left breast and till Tuesday I was in a hospital. At first the doctors diagnose a heart attack.

Tuesday, July 31, 2007. We don't. although we've learned a few phrases since being here. Through all the cheap hotels, rainy afternoons, broken suitcases and worn-out shoes, we actually do have quite a few stories to share! Here are a few of the highlights of our trip so far. We have three days left together, until Ty has to go back to finish his tour. Three more months for him (hopefully) and then he'll be home. Here we are just hanging out at Olympic Park in Munich. Enjoying a hike around Garmisch.
